My Countdown is on......

Thirty days and counting until we head to Oahu, then Maui for three glorius weeks. What makes this trip so special is that I get to marry the love of my life in my favorite place in the world while I am there.

How's that for more bang for my buck?

I thought that phrase had a different connotation when speaking of a honeymoon

Holy Smokes! Was that a Freudian slip or what? I must save my reputation here by saying NO PUN INTENDED.

Fellow Bostonian (along w/three other Bostonians) flying to Oahu on March 3 (then on the Kauai and The Big Island) for two weeks.

Let's hope we all have glorious weather (but then again after the cold streak in Boston this winter I'd take 50 and rain).

Mahalo for the great advice from all who submit to this forum. It has helped our trip planning tremendously

50 degrees??

Where are you going in Hawai'i that'll be 50 degrees? (of course, there are many places that reach 50, but generally speaking, low temperatures in March usually are way above 50).

... and I'll be on Maui hiking in bamboo forests and frolicking in swimming holes while you're there.

Believe me - it's been real cold here in Boston. If the worst cold streak to ever hit the islands happened, we'd still be warm

I went to college in Boston -- I share your pain... perhaps the coldest four years of my life

aloha and Enjoy your trip!
