A place to study?

First time in Hawaii.
Will arrive 2/9 to pass an Exam at the end of February in Honolulu.
Looking for a QUIET, peaceful place, preferably close to a beach with Internet access, to study and also see something interesting when taking a break. I don't mind flying to one of the other islands if such a place exists and has a direct flight back to Honolulu.
Is there an ideal spot to prepare for an exam?
Thanks.

Are you asking about lodging or just a place to study. If the latter, the Univ of Hawaii has several libraries on campus that would be perfect.

The only problem is you can't log on to the WIFI without having the right credentials.

At the end of February, is this bar study? Flying to another island isn't going to do you any good--the only thing you'll find out there are coffee shops, book stores, and the public libraries (Wifi will likely be an issue here as well), which are all things you can find on Oahu. Personally, I'd just request a quiet hotel room with comp WIFI outside Waikiki, e.g., the Ihilani. Unless you still want some nightlife when taking a break from studying. Or check VRBO.

a place to study

I actually need a place I can prepare for my medical Board Exam.
I have my own books and need WiFi access to online lectures.
I was hoping to find a peaceful place that would allow me to prepare and also have some activities I can enjoy while taking a break.
What about Molokai?

Moloka`i would indeed be very peaceful.

But you'll want to check very carefully about the availability of decent wifi.

Vacation Rental

I would look for a Rental place with Internet either Oahu or the Neighbor Islands. Otherwise, you may run into too many distractions.

I'd recommend stay at home and study in a familiar environment. Fly over the day before the exam and stay a week after to celebrate.
