Longan on Oahu?

I know Longan is grown on the big island and other places but any idea of availablity on Oahu. I know Chinatown is the obvious place but is there any farms or direct source on Oahu? Also how likely can the fruit be found outside the summer season like say December? We were just there in September and they said the season was over yet Hula Brothers says they ship Fall - Winter.

Longan the fruit is probably most likely available in Chinatown as I'm not aware of any direct source on Oahu. I'm not sure if you know this but it has been extremely hot in Hawaii especially on Oahu the past few months and only now we have been getting some rain. So it might be likely that the season isn't over yet.

You can try the KCC farmer's market on Saturdays. It's not too far from Waikiki. There is tons of produce there. I saw lychee there in July. I think I the tail end of lychee season is late October, but I'm not an expert.

Anyways, the farmer's market is a definite can't miss place to visit in Oahu there are good eats all over the place. My favorite was the grilled corn and fresh lemonade.
