Back posting of miles...

Does anyone know how far back you can get miles posted for a trip, before you were a member? I would like to add our miles to Aloha Airlines account for a trip we took last Feburary.

Possible? Or snooze you loose?

Thanks.

Snooze you lose, sorry

Miles may be earned only for flights, hotel stays, car rentals or transactions actually taken or performed by the member after acceptance by Aloha of the membership application (i.e., retroactive Miles are not permitted).

edited to add: retroactive crediting following your joining of AlohaPass is allowed, however.

I recently flew Aloha Airlines for the first time (and probably the last!)

I gave them my United FF #. Anyone know how long it takes to post to my account? I had also flown Hawaiian between islands and gave them my AA #. That has already posted.

How recent was the flight and what flight was it? Specifics would help better answer the question. Generally, since AQ and UA do not have their computers linked for mileage earnings a physical statement of your miles needs to be sent to UA, which can take weeks. Give it a little more time and save your boarding passes (not your ticket receipt), as with any airline, your boarding pass is your proof of flight.

Each member is responsible for ensuring that Miles are properly credited. A written request for missing Flight Miles or Bonus Miles will be processed up to one hundred eighty (180) days after the respective travel date (reflecting flights taken) or the date of the event giving rise to the Bonus Miles (with respect to Bonus Miles) provided it is accompanied by copies of the members boarding pass stubs or ticket receipts (with respect to Flight Miles) or such proof as is required by Aloha of participation in the applicable program or promotion (with respect to Bonus Miles).

Sorry about not posting the exact dates of my flights.

The first flight was Dec. 20 (flight 485). The return flight was Dec. 31 (flight 484).

I did save my boarding passes and will send UA a copy. Thanks

Jay
