Question Combining miles

New Guy on the block to HA
Anyone know the rules on combining friends and family miles into one HA account? I read about on my Hawaiian Visa newsletter
Pretty vague. Also said MAY be subject to fees
Tried to do a search but nothing came up for me
Thanks all

IF you have the HA Visa card, then anyone with HA miles can "pool miles" by transferring their miles to your account. There is a 10x per year limit on the number of transfer-ins.

But you can't "combine" points from friends'/family members' accounts, only via the "pool miles" option, above.

Aloha Airlines has an "Ohana Plan" where you can pull from various family member accounts to get award travel issued. Note, though, that you have to apply in writing and have signatures of all the family members and that AQ does nothing very quickly

Appreciate the heads up.So regarding the pool miles option... One can do up to ten transfers per year as long as the member has the HA Visa Card ?
No charge? I assume one calls HA to make the transfer to the members account?
Thanks again

The receiver needs to be the BOA HA Visa Card holder. Anyone can transfer to the card holder any amount of miles up to 10x a year without charge, which can be instantaneously done online after logging into the HawaiianMiles members page. One of the better features of HawaiianAir.com. ^
