Aloha Upgrades
First flights with Aloha coming up. Do they have an upgrade procedure where one can use United miles or another airline?
How about operational upgrades? Would it be worth it tojust ask?

By the way, you can't use Aloha miles to upgrade on UA, but you can use them to book your ticket.
As for upgrading at the gate, they do offer day of departure upgrades at a fee and with space available, so it wouldn't hurt to ask. Also, I do believe that the fee varies for elites and that they do get priority.
