getting bumped

I am flying HNL to LAX 29th of Nov. Flight looks really full. What are my chances on this date of oversell?. Any thoughts? What is the voluntary comp I should expect. I only paid $129 on this route

I got bumped from an HNL-LAX flight on HA last year -- got a $250 voucher and rescheduled on an AA flight. Not much, but I did get the miles for BOTH the original HA flight as well as the AA flight. For 11/29, it looks pretty good as all three HA flights to LAX are oversold. If you do get bumped, it is likely they would put you on another airline -- probably CO or NW as the others are also pretty full.

Which flight are you booked on? If it's the redeye, you might have to overnight in HNL, which might not be so bad, especially with comp. hotel, taxi and voucher.
