Hawiian Airlines Award Booking Window

Hi everyone. Quick question - I'm looking to book a couple award tickets on Hawaiian Airlines from April 18-26, 2014. I called customer service and she claimed that the booking window was one year, thereby suggesting that I would need to book two pair of one-way tickets on April 18 and April 26, 2013, respectively. She told me this after about a five minute hold and frankly I have 0% confidence in what she said. More, to test her, I went on their website to try to book a one way ticket for one year from today and it wouldn't let me get past late April on the date selection calendar.

So, does anyone have any valuable insight or perhaps a link they can point me to on award ticket booking window for Hawiian Airlines? The customer service reps are always nice, but I rarely, if ever, feel as though they know what they're talking about. Thank you so much for your help.

I think it may be more closer to 330 days than 1 year.

Thanks 2000subaru - I think you're right. Because it will let me search availability through 2/23/14 right now, which is roughly 330 days from today. It's alarming that she'd provide information that is flat-out wrong, but it is what it is. Thanks again.

I hope you are not looking to book any 40,000 one way First award seats. As son as the 330 day window opens, all the award F seats jump to 80,000 miles and stay there. The 40,000 mile award simply does not exist.

I've seen it on west coast routes. Don't know about JFK.

I've booked 40k each way JFK/HNL RT F awards @ 330 day window. Not saying all routes/dates will have this availability just that they don't all change to 80k.
The 40k F award does exist..... just saw it for JFK/HNL Feb '14

Thanks for the "heads up" TDOL. I also noticed that there are a few OW F Award seats JFK-HNL at 40,000 miles but that does me no good. My search is from HNL to LAX or SFO. I start the search at 330 days then back up. There are absolutely no seats at the 40,000 level.

Right, understand some routes/dates not available, what is/are your date/dates, any flexibility there? I often see mid-week days have 40k, hope you can find what you want!

I booked 330 days out for JFK-HNL and was only able to get one seat at 40k the other was seat I bought the ticket for 380 one way and used 50k points to upgrade.

Thanks guys. I went into the web site and also found these 40,000 mile award seats and I now see my problem. I am looking for two seats for me and my wife and they seem to only be offering one which TDOWL pointed out. When I refresh the search asking for two seats, it jumps up to 80,000 per seat. GOGIANTSFAN brought up a great solution - pay for an economy seat and use 50,000 miles to upgrade the other. Can I do that on line or do I have to call them? What is your advise?
