Earning Miles on Hawaiian Air Flights

Hi,

Some of the airline websites (including Hawaiian) seem to be out of date with respect to earning miles with flights flown on Hawaiian Airlines. I will be flying SFO-HNL and HNL-JFK in July. I understand that I will be able to earn AA miles on the HNL-JFK leg. Is this correct? What are my options for the SFO-HNL leg? Would like Delta, United or AA...

Thanks!

Welcome to flyertalk.

You're right. No AA miles for SFO-HNL. Flights on HA can credit to UA or DL only if you are booked into certain fare classes. You have to check the "earn mles" section for HA on the delta and ua sites to see whar fares qualify.
