Dear members of the Seattle Flyertalkers group.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend. I wanted to mention to all the SEA Thank YOU DO event dedicated to thank the Delta/NW/Republic CS center employees. As you may know, the center is closing on 8/31, and many of the employees will relocate to other stations/positions or depart from Delta.
We have about 20 members of flyertalk so far who are coming. I want to encourage you to register and attend the event. It is our way of saying thank you to the people who have been watching our travel needs for more than 20 years, some go as far as republic customer service days. The SEA CS center is also the center for several supervisors (it is a supervisor's base), it is a former NW elite desk, and it is one of the interpreters' desk (so if you ever used the excellent service in Japanese, Korean or Mandarin/Cantonese, you've most likely reached SEA as well). We also have some 'unofficial gatherings' over the weekend, so it could be a great opprotunity for all of you to meet fellow FTers. We have so far 14 that fly from out of town to arrive. As close as PDX, as far as Melborne.
The event thread is here with current scheduled events, registration info, attendees, etc.

If you cannot attend, but still wish to donate to the thank you event you can do so through paypal at
[email protected]
110% goes to the personalized greeting cards to ALL center employees (from the very top to the entry level, all including all, about 200 of them), catering for the thank you gathering, etc.
I hope you can attend and stand with us on the right side of right. We also have other activities planned for that day, and some 'unofficial' gatherings for the weekend. What a great opprotunity to meet visiting FTers, to meet the employees that always helped you and will keep doing so in other centers. They are looking forward to meet us, and so do we!
Any questions, notes, etc? please email to
[email protected] or PM me.
Thank you for helping us say thank you to the people who bring SEA spirit into Customer Service,
