Are you wanting to view the parade at street level or above it? If above are you wanting just a view or to be ensconced in a bar/cafe?
Street level might be best on Baker Street before the crowds of Oxford Street and Regent Street. Indoors options include the first floor of the Apple store on Regent St (that way you can watch the parade and make use of the free Wifi ) A more luxurious spot might be the Sofitel St James on Waterloo Place (http://www.sofitelstjames.com). Shame the route doesnt go along Piccadilly anymore you could have had tea at the Ritz
After the Parade go have a nice lunch (may I recommend going to Portraits in the National Portrait Gallery. A great view of Trafalgar Sq http://www.npg.org.uk/visit/food/restaurant.php) and then wander through the crowds in Soho, Leicester Sq and Trafalgar Sq. Soho will be pedetranised for the day so just wander round. Do people watching and see if there are any acts you want to catch off the Pride website (http://www.pridelondon.org)
Are you planning to go clubbing? When are you arriving in London. You can pick up tickets to the parties at Prowler Soho, Brewer Street or Clone Zone, Old Compton St.
To get an idea about the London scene google BOYZ (It is the local gay weekly freebie about the scene etc) and look up their online version.
Tell us what you fancy doing and I might be able to point you in the right direction. One tip that is safe to venture is be prepared for weather change. You just never know in the UK.
