I'm in.

BTW, don't forget to crosspost a link to this thread in the Community Forum. We will be certain to get many reknowned and fun "mainstream" FTers.

(The hard part is not posting the new thread but remembering to bump it!)

I live here, so I'm most assuredly in. I will hopefully be in my brand new place in Hayes Valley by time the Gayla rolls around.

My partner Jack & I can surely come to some of the events since we're just across the bay.

I've never been to a Gayla before, but I'm definitely considering joining you guys for this one. Is there an "official" (or unofficial, for that matter) host hotel, or does everyone just find their own? (I realize this is FT, after all, so maybe there's a contest to see who can nab the best deal?!)

I'm glad to see more folks are trickling in, especially the locals.

There isn't host hotel, since they tend to be sort of expensive if you don't Priceline them.

Quick update:

If Oakland Children's Hospital & Research Center decided to hire me as their new Clinical Research Associate then I wouldn't need to fly from the East Coast and we could party it up allll weekend long Should hear from them pretty soon *crossing fingers*

Put me on the list tentatively... won't know for sure until September, when I find out whether or not we're racing that weekend, but I kinda doubt it... so lookin' good! ^
