Airports that Sell Gay Magazines
In lieu of my previous post in which I expressed my difficulty of not carrying a gay magazine such as Out, Advocate, etc while having found an incredibly attractive family person on board and having badly failed in locating one of the mags in bookstores of LAX, I think it would be fun to start a thread compiling a list of airports that SELL these magazines!
Airport:
Sale Location: [Name of the store], where in what terminal
List of mags:
So far, I have none. Help?

I tend to be well dressed and have been thought of as straight by so many people.
To answer the question :
I have found that gay magazines (i.e Gay) tend to be found in European airports (duh) not so much in the US. But you'd be suprised, I saw advocate on sale last month at the UA terminal in of all places IND.
That's the last place I expect to see it.

It won't help Auracon because the PIT landside terminal is now closed, but does anyone remember the tiny book & magazine shop in the communal waiting room there? There were maybe 70 book titles on display. So I was shocked (shocked!) years ago to find the following tome for sale: Wonder Bread and Esctasy: The Life & Death of Joey Stefano, whose name somehow rang a bell. "Oh that's right," thought I in Pittsburgh, "he was gay porn's first superstar bottom. I'm sure I've read about him in Forbes." Anyway, he's buck naked on the cover, which was nice too. Maybe Auracon can just get that book & leave it in his carryon? No need to fuss with getting the latest issue of a periodical that way.

Ok now you have me going. I can't stand going to an airport where all the magazine and book store consessions are obviously one company. Same items in every shop. DFW is a prime example. Magazines are owned by a consession that has US Rep. Eddie B Johnson as an owner. Every terminal same crap. Don't even think about finding Out. And one wonders why people think she has a huge conflict of interest in the Wright debate. But I am chasing rabbits.
Also why at airports do bookstores not sell magazines? Is there some sort of airport magazine shop mafia that prevents them from doing so?
Am I the only person that thinks the Advocate is got to be one of the worst, most boring, self rightious magazines in the good ole US?
Finally, PHL sells Out at the bookstore in main shopping area of the airport. One won't find it in the magazine/gift shops.

I have had no trouble fiding the Aussie gay mags at Australian airports (including the Newslink agencies located inside Qantas Club lounges).
I have even been able to find the gay newspapers (free at venues, on sale at newsagencies) such as Sydney Star Observer available for sale at Australian airport newsagencies. Handy when arriving into a city, purchase the local gay rag and read it on the shuttle in to town.

The UA domestic terminal at SFO, immediately after security, has a large magazine AND book store with many gay mags. I've also seen gay mags (quite explicit!) in AMS, but that was last century.
