NYC question

I am traveling to NYC for a long weekend with a friend in May. We are staying near Times Square and wanted to know if there is a nearby gay or gay-friendly upscale bar we can meet friends after work on Friday or before dinner on Saturday.

What weekend? Me and another FTer are there on May 8th and 9th. Staying at the Marriott Marquis. Email me if you're in the Big Apple at the same time, and want to get together for a drink.

Thanks for the info. We will be there 5/7 - 5/9... staying at Millennium Broadway. Therapy looks like fun... thanks for the suggestion!

Hopefully, I'll be seeing you in NYC on Sunday for lunch if things work out. Anybody else about?

Don't forget to register for the UA mileage promotion for JFK flights...

I went with friends to XL when we were there...I think it's around 18th, so that's a little south of the Times Square area.

XL is fun (interesting factoids: Sarah Jessica Parker shot there on location for her Sex and the City show; the openly-gay Anglican arch-bishop Robinson was shown having a drink there during the 60 Minutes piece about him). Monday nights are best, ironically.

Another vote for Therapy. Though on any given day, I'd much prefer the bars in the east village.

Neither actually. I was thinking more Phoenix and Starlight.
