There's a MAX line very close (nearly across the street), and you could very easily get there from PDX (around 45 min), and it is very easy to get to/fr town (maybe 10-15 min, and in the fareless zone). Breakfast in the restaurant was great....for gold/diamond there was a buffet (ok) or you could order nearly anything off the menu (really great).
We stayed there last year, found a Pres Suite on the top floor for $125/night ^

That's the one! I saw on the map it was right by the MAX and I can also take a nice leisurely stroll down Burnside to Powells if I want to. My rate is only $94 which is even better. Thank you for the write up, now I'm even more excited to stay there!
