Trip to Euro- best club cities?
Looking to travel to London and looking then to check out another euro destination but cannot decide where.. thinking Berlin. I had read in a forum on here that Amsterdam was not all that great for the clubs and I really did not care for the ones in Paris.

Well if clubbing is determining your choice of a European city (?) then I'd agree, Berlin over Amsterdam. In fact, probably over most European cities besides maybe Barcelona.
What time of the year are you thinking of going?
Because outdoor bars are wonderful in Europe from the spring on... depends on what you're looking for.

And the largest city in Spain is quite good as well: Madrid.
See http://www.liquid.es/
The city is famous for clubbing all night long.

I would say you couldn't go wrong with Berlin or Madrid, as they're probably the best cities for gay nightlife (and other diversions) in Europe, but Barcelona/Sitges is another possibility, if you travel in a warm season.
http://www.nighttours.com/ has a lot of information on gay destinations in Europe.

I'd go for Madrid or BCN. But if you go in summer, I would spend a couple days in BCN (beautiful city, reminds me of Buenos Aires) and then take the train down to Sitges. Its about 30 minutes south of BCN and very easy to get to by train.

I would pick the dance clubs in Madrid over Berlin, especially music-wise. However, I would pick the all-around gay scene in Berlin over Madrid any day!!! Also, some of the neighborhoods near the dance clubs in Madrid become a little sketchy around 3 or 4 am, especially around the Plaza del Sol.

In Barcelona, DBOY and Souvenir, both organized by MATINEE GROUP. They also do a party once a month in London, and they have Matinee@Amnesia Ibiza on Saturday nights during the summer. They also organize the (every year bigger) Circuit Festival, top 1st circuit event in Europe at the moment!
In Köln, well, they are more of the big parties type rather than regular clubs that open every friday and saturday. I'd suggest not to miss Sexy CGN, Pleasure X, or Panic Room.
