Good meeting point at MUC?

I'm flying FRA-MUC on LH next week; I'm meeting friends who will be arriving from CDG on AF.

Any suggestions on where they could meet me?

I'm somewhat familiar with the MUC arrivals area, they're not. I'm not sure where they'll "arrive" from AF. I'm a much better traveler than they, so if you have a recommendation, give me the more "challenging" job and have them stay as close to their AF arrival area as possible.

TIA.

Your friends will be arriving in T1 and you are flying into T2 so I guess the arrivals centre would probably be the best for them. I'd suggest the airbrau brewpub as it's hard to miss.

Personally when I'm hooking up with friends at MUC we always meet at the Hofbrauhaus im Flughafen at the top of the escalators in T2. I much prefer the beer in there.

If you arrive at the same time and just need a meeting "point", the entrance to the S-Bahn on surface level between both Terminal is a no miss. This is where the check in kiosks of both red Air Berlin and yellow Lusthansa meet.

Great. These are helpful, thank you. Large enough landmarks, but I'm sure those clowns will still mess things up!

Another hard to miss treffpunkt would be the giant MAGLEV train on display between T1 and 2. Of course it is just across the courtyard from the Airbrau.
