Excursions from Nuremberg
I'll be in Nuremberg for three nights next week. As lovely as it is, it is a city that can easily be enjoyed within two days. With this in mind, are there any nice excursions to places nearby I should consider?

Bamberg or Regensburg are both directly and regularly reachable by train in under 1hr

I would consider Wrzburg (Residenz is world heritage) and Rothenburg ob de Tauber (medival town with great art).
