Upscale restaurants in Berlin
My wife and I will be heading to Berlin in late May, and would love to have some more upscale suggestions for a special dinner. Wife is vegetarian, but otherwise, we'll be game for any kind of inventive or unusual food. We'll be staying in Prenzlauer Berg, but willing to Uber almost anywhere. Thanks, in advance!

Some friends recommended this pure vegetarian restaurant: https://cookiescream.com/
It is quite hard to find (quoting the homepage "Go down the alleyway to the chandelier. When you think youre lost youre right.") and a quite unusual location. I am not sure, if they have some days with a DJ playing (which would be a no-go for us) so be aware of that or ask, if you want to book.
Another one I can recommend from personal experience: Nobelhart & Schmutzig (https://www.nobelhartundschmutzig.com/en/). No pure vegan option available (see here why), but I heard people asking for a vegatarian option while sitting at the long counter right in front of the kitchen (which I would also recommend to book)
Both restaurants have 1 michelin star.

My wife and I spend a month every fall in Prenzlauer Berg (Myer's Hotel on Metzer Strae) and eat frequently at Leibhaftig just a few doors down. Highly recommend.
Let me know if you want any other Prenzlauer Berg suggestions.
