day hotel in Berlin

day hotel in Berlin
hey ladies and gents,
I would like to see if you guys can help me out with an idea
I am arriving in Berlin-Tegel on Tuesday morning, and have nothing to do until that night when I have a dinner.
I would love to have a place to sleep a little and freshen up. The hotel that Im staying at is in Leipzig so a good 1.5-2 hours away, and I was hoping I could take a hotel room in Berlin....however, the check in time would of course be in the afternoon
Do you guys have any ideas what I could do to secure a hotel room that I can check into in the morning already?

Try Bleibtreu hotel on Bleibtreustrasse. They will be more than happy to give you a room early and get back for night. Just call or better yet email them. They also have a great breakfast which if youre early enough you can partake. Also a very nice area so you can freshen up with a nice walk or coffee outside if you cant sleep.

The "between9and5" website arranges day rooms in various locations, including Berlin. We successfully used this site to obtain a room at the Hotel Lindner in June 2014. It was satisfactory in every way, with the sole possible "exception" being that we were only allowed to check in precisely at 9am, even though there was likely space at the hotel. Given our flight schedules we appeared at the front desk at 745. So, we had tea on the Ku'damm.
