Unless you have a huge moral hangup about this, I would just forget about it and move on. No 'federal agency' is going to come after you, and no one is going to bother chasing a fine all the way to TX.

My daughter lives in Germany. I frequent the country and I don't want any problems if I happen to get pulled over or what ever may occur. I have also heard that if you ever apply for a visa it may come up.

Paid mine via Nat West. They charged £10 for doing it bringing the total up to £26.13 but at least it's done and i less stressed about the situation until the next time :D
Thanks for all your help in this matter.

I am still waiting for the ticket to come from Germany. Any idea on how long?

To pay it I was going to pay pal the money to a friend in Germany to pay it in person for me. Wiring 70-80 euros would cost me another $35 USD.

At least three weeks. Two weeks just for the letter to be delivered.

I would also not recommend to ignore it.
They do not make it easy to pay up.
Got a speeding ticket once in CH, you could see from the payment options they were specialised in hawking foreigners ;)
