Munich - June 2013
Hello,
Looking to fly into MUC from the Mid-Atlantics on or around the first weekend in June '13 and depart the following weekend. With limited searching, the best price seems to be Air Berlin out of JFK for roughly $975 roundtrip. JFK was chosen merely on price. I'd be willing to travel as far north as boston, south to Dulles or as far west as Cleveland if it made sense.
Questions:
- Is my current price competitive? What price point and or threshold constitues a deal?
- Are there any other airports within a reasonable distance that would allow a destination of MUC via rail that I should be considering?
- In terms of rates, is there anything special about the beginning of June that I should be aware of? i.e. common times for Holiday, festivals, etc.
