Hilton Dresden
I'm new here so I don't know if this is in the correct forum, so please excuse my ignorance, but I'm planning a stay at the Dresden Hilton for Sept. for two nights in an Exec floor room. At Hilton's reservation site, it states in some of the exec rooms description that you can enjoy access to the exec lounge for "free drinks". Nothing further listed. In some of the larger exec rooms it states you get access to the exec lounge for "free drinks, free continental breakfast, free snacks, etc. I thought all executive rooms give you access to the lounge and the free breakfast, snacks, and drinks? I called Hilton's res line and she said the breakfast is supposed to come with all the exec rooms. I don't want to call Germany, but since it doesn't say what she said at the reservation site, I'm afraid I'll find out the hard way when I'm in Dresden that she was wrong. Does anybody know from experience which is true? Thank you very much.

Welcom to Flyertalk! There is a Hilton forum that should help answer your question. Look here for trip reports on the Hilton Dresden. Also, you can go to the Hilton forum and then use the "search this forum" option entering "Dresden" and find many threads on that hotel.

Thanks, I'm having trouble finding the Hilton forum. I see a HiltonHonors forum, is that the one you mean?

Yes, that's the one. As you see, there are forums for each major chain's frequent traveler program.. Information about Hilton hotels is found aggregated in the Hilton honors forum.

Let me answer your question. The Dresden Hilton is a nice hotel, in a great location, in the old city. If you book an executive floor room, you will be able to have breakfast in the morning and evening munchies and drinks in the executive lounge, at no additional charge. Usually the munchies include 2 hot items and cheeses, rolls, ... Drinks will include some German wines.
Edited to add: oktoberfest - Welcome to Flyertalk. You may not be aware, but it is best not to post the same question twice, in two different forums. I will ask a moderator to transfer this thread to the Hilton Forum. Good wishes.

Welcome to Flyertalk
Nearly every major hotel chain has its own dedictated forum. The Hilton forum was already mentioned and you will find information about the hotel in this forum.
Instead of moving it to the forum, I will close this thread, which seems a better solution in my eyes.
Thank your for your understanding
