bally's ac dennis tower room note

I stayed in a bally's dennis tower (refurbished) room this past weekend, some comments: (1)the corridors have been re-carpeted and the doors to the rooms look very nice, (2)the large flat panel lcd in the room was better by 10x than what they used to have, (3)the interiors have been nicely upgraded, new beds, carpeting, lamps, bright spot lights over the beds, (3)the bathrooms have been redone, with all new faucets etc., (4)the one thing they could not do is stretch the walls, the rooms are still very small--a king size bed leaves very little room between it and the walls.

Hey nrr,

I am staying at Bally's for the first time... Would you say that the Dennis Tower is the one I should request?

I usually stay at the bourban tower at showboat just for comparison.

thanks!

The Bally's Tower rooms are larger and nicer (and offer a nicer view.) If they did any makeover on the Tower rooms, like adding LCD's, that would make these even better.
Generally Saturday night stays in AC(even for Diamond level players) were not listed as "free" or "comp"--but now with the economies downturn, they seem to be available--but at least for Bally's, they put you in the Dennis Tower (or sometimes in the Claridge) [In one of the posts on FT, the poster described a Claridge room as something one sees on TV, where they take you to be interrogated.]
