Global representation? Is that the difference between geo fora and Gaming Loyalty Programs Forum?

So, if I want to go to Macau, just for the fun of gambling, and I have questions about hotels and transportation. And maybe some advice for sightseeing. Do I post in Asia Forum? Or do I start a thread in this forum?

I would think I should go to Asia Forum.

There's a whole TB thread that discussed what to cover in this forum. I don't think we should mix the geo-oriented threads in this "loyalty" programs forum.

Currently stickied here (combined 'new picture feature' & new gaming loyalty forum in New Forum News)

Another idea (provided it is not spamming): for TB to PM contributors to the appropriate TB gmaing discussion & voting threads, that it is now open.

Yes, I think your accommodation and local info belongs in the Asia forum.

However, I am very interested in the loyalty programs for the casinos operating out of Macau.

I'm also interested in some info on actual gaming and on hotel options specifically in Macau hotels. To a large extent I would hope that RFB questions re. Macau casino hotels are relevant to this forum.

I would probably ask Macau questions re. hotels in the Asia forum first, then ask more detailed, relevant gaming/comp/program questions here and link back to the thread in Asia.

I don't have a visit planned yet, so this is just theoretical 'til then, unless my HK trip takes a turn to Macau.

That might be spamming - but I think they'll mention it in the TalkMail.

Here's a new announcement that Canarsie set up in the Las Vegas forum - hopefully it'll help direct traffic here:

I am most interested in:

1) Real stories (e.g., how much you gamble, how much you get in comps per property)
2) Contacts for best casino hosts
3) Strategies for maximizing your comps
4) Great trip reports (for comps)
5) Nightmare trip reports (for comps)
6) Stories about people getting booted (e.g., for card counting)
7) Any tips on "status matching"

Because the above entails revealing "secrets" and some personal info, I would prefer to see this forum restricted to 90-day or 180-day members like CC & OMNI.

As far as status matching goes, Borgata will give you Black Label if you show a valid Harrahs diamond card. Trump was doing something as well, but I think that was through August.

As far as play vs comps, I talked a bit about that here for Borgata:
