I signed up for FC and registered 4 weeks ago and still no conversion to Diamond. A bit annoyed since Im going to AC this weekend.

It does take them an annoyingly long time to activate Caesars Diamond Status. I'll send a message to a friend who also did it in the past month or two.

I did inquire about Caesars status (for 2015) and this is the official response :

Can you inquire about when the card expires.

I inquired.... right now its good through March 31 2015.....but FC said they are going to work with TR to have it automatically renew...

The membership year for Caesars is Jan-Dec.
Does that mean as their agreement ends in March you'd keep status till 2016?

Anybody know?

They won't guarantee the renewal at this point. It seems likely, it will renew until 2016; but the only way to be 100% safe (new member) would be to wait to enrol after the 1st of March.

BTW, while the Caesars membership year is January to December; your card expires March 31, 2015. (similar to the way airline status operates)

I'll query again.

Ah Ok - That makes sense!

Cheers for the reply. - I inquired myself a few weeks back but the reply said 'Through March 15' - Not sure if this mean until March 15 or until the end of March 15?

I guess as it is reported to take 2-6 weeks to be apply the only way would be applying say mid April? (as long as its until the end of March)

Hmmmmm

Now when I sign into TR, it now has it expiring March 2016 :)

It's 2/1/2015 requested Diamond around 12/2x/14 but never got it my account still says Platinum. Should I wait until after 3/31 like 4/1/15 request Diamond again? Once you request once they won't renew Diamond again correct?

That seems encouraging. I have been considering getting my husband a spouse card now for our March Trip (one time fee of $395). I am concerned if we add him and the membership is not extended into 2016 he would get minimal return for the card. I guess it is a gamble to get it now. We are going with my parents and that would allow us to take them both into the Diamond lounges and since the second room is booked under my husband we would save the resort fees on their room too.

What to do, what to do?

You might as well request it now. At this point all upgrades are supposedly expiring on 3/31/15. If a new contract is negotiated all Diamond statuses will be extended through 2016 for active members.
