(TR) Platinum in AC

I was diamond in 2006-2008 and then dropped to linoleum level until this past weekend when I clawed my way back to platinum. I moved to the east coast earlier this year, so my only experience with TR perks has been in Las Vegas. How do platinum perks in AC compare to Las Vegas? I know they have gotten more stingy in general on comps at all levels, but I am wondering if it was worth it to even get platinum.

If you are talking about room comps, then no difference. CET doesn't seem to care whether you are platinum or diamond, just about how much money they make off of you (Average Daily Theoretical aka ADT). When I went from platinum to diamond a couple of years ago it made no difference in room offers.

They're always sending me slot promotions and small amounts of free play. Again, I think this is based off of ADT and not level.

As far as I can tell, the only really platinum perk in AC is cheaper parking. Also, some of the hotels have a separate platinum check-in.

I dropped from diamond to platinum to linoleum over the last year and really I don't see a difference in the perks except for parking (which in the whole scheme of things doesn't matter much in terms of cost unless on very busy days they limit valet to diamond or diamond/platinum members only). One of the reasons may be that AC is hurting tremendously since PA allowed table games in their casinos. It sure beats driving the Parkway and avoiding shore bums on the weekends!

As long as I get discounted rooms or at least rooms in the casino I could care less for the other comps from them. Considering I play the $50 BJ or $25 craps tables even a $100 meal is just not worth it. It's just 2 hand loss. I rather be able to get up when I want to rather then beg for a comp which takes takes them at least 15 minutes to hand it to me and all this time I may have played several hands.

Key is to get up when your are winning and pay for the cheap stuff!
