the entire exchange, for those not on Facebook.
I've also verified the same, personally, with a member of the Marketing/Player Development team. Of course, always taken with a 'grain of salt' --- since Casino Marketing is often quite fickle; and things are truly a YMMV situation. anon guest : It's a beautiful place but on 1/12/2011 a director of player development there told me that there would be no further "deals" because they are now exclusively concentrating on the convention crowd because the economy has picked up sufficiently that their occupancy is nearly full almost daily so they "really don't need to give out any comps anymore." If you pay casino rates and play hard enough, they might comp you a meal or two and perhaps a day or so on your room stay. I'll stay elsewhere! MGM and Caesars entertainment group are still giving comped rooms. The Palazzo Las Vegas : Thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated. Guests are always welcome to check availability with our Marketing Team, complimentary offers are based on rated table and slot game play, and are subject to availability. anon guest : Just to respond to the canned comment from Palazzo, I had 6 trips to Vegas in 2010, my status points were in excess of 135,000 and still the lines of "rated game play" and "subject to availability" keep popping up. I'm offended and I think you are about to experience just how much gambling convention and conferences generate. Thanks for the past 4 years. Good while it lasted. |

Interesting. I haven't contacted Grazie for comped rooms as I have mostly been doing day trips for the past year and if I do stay overnight I go with Hilton/Hyatt to get a stay in since it's so inexpensive. I'll see if I can get a hold of my old host who left for GVR.
Most of my 'real-play' is in Atlantic City; so I can't really speak to Vegas very much (except, in a more general sense). ;) |
Historically I've never had a problem getting 2 or 3 nights comp at the V/P whenever I wanted it. Last year it was just the Mrs. getting the mailers, she had one through 12/31, today she was quoted $179 weekdays, I was quoted $129 weekdays, plus $17 resort fees of course. My former host who left V for GVR is now doing freelance junkets out of Schenectady.
Plenty of CET comp offers still. |
It's official :
We've essentially cut all of our comps except our most highly-rated players," he said. "No more comped rooms. No food and beverage. No showroom credits. We're selling rooms. We see it's resulting in a substantial increase in cash income. |

Interesting I got the same offer for ther room prices, slightly lower comps. My offer code was CAPS2N. Paying $189 for weekend nights plus tax and resort fee will not get me to stay with them.
