Borgata Certificates will no longer be issued

One of the nice perks of staying at the Borgata (in Atlantic City) was that you could redeem Borgata certificates (minimum $50) from your comp account for use at Boyd or MGM properties. So if you stayed at an MGM hotel any food charges billed to your room could be covered by these certificates. I tried to get a few (for my next trip to LAS) and they said they will be issuing NO more of them (outstanding ones are valid until 7/18/10).
They should have notified people of this new policy.

I was notified via snail mail last week . . . I have used these certs before and think they're a pretty good deal, especially if your Boragata comp dollars are about to expire.

After my post, I received a snail mailing.
One of the biggest perks for me was that they covered tips charged to your room (for LAS hotels). While at Borgata, tips could not be paid for with comp dollars.
