Reduction in flights to/from PHL
Wow. Just renewed my Go Wild Pass and am a bit shocked to discover the massive reduction in flights serving Philadelphia. I'm well aware many of Frontier's flights are seasonal and they change their schedules as often as I sneeze, but looking over the current offerings, there's slim pickings. I'm seeing just a few flights to Florida, way fewer than previous Fall and Winters, and not much else (ATL, RDU and maybe 1 or 2 others). Gone is Las Vegas and Los Angeles (might be back next summer), and Denver is sporadic and unlikely to be available for GWP.
Funny that they made a big deal about adding 10 cities from PHL in 2024, and every single one of those 10 cities are gone.
Competing against AA in PHL is not for the weak hearted, and sadly its looking like Frontier is going the way of Southwest. Oh well, looks like I just made a $299 donation to their continued operations. Enjoy it F9.

The service cutbacks from Philadelphia do seem extensive and a bit strange. I'm not really sure what's happening, and I don't see any media coverage of this development (of course, few people seem to really care what Frontier does). I thought the reduction of service to Denver might be seasonal, but I don't see it back for next winter. I also don't see Vegas back. It is possible Frontier is "giving up" on PHL, or perhaps they're just being their usual not-very-competent selves. I do feel the pain for anyone in Philly who bought a travel pass or a status match upgrade.
EDIT: I do see the PHL - DFW flight still on the schedule. Is that the only thing they're operating out of Philly west of the Mississippi? I recall reading that they were going to offer NEW flights out of PHL next winter. Like I thought they were adding service to Houston. I don't actually see that flight on the schedule, though.

Philadelphia area flyers should not feel alone in this situation. The exact same thing happened in Cleveland, supposedly one of their stronger stations. And unlike Philadelphia, there is no dominant carrier here.
I personally would only consider getting the Go Wild Pass if I lived near other airports that they serve, so there might be backup routes you can use to take full advantage of the Pass. I know there's a few flights out of NYC, so between the Big Apple and Philadelphia you could probably get the full value's worth of the Pass if you don't mind a little extra travel getting to the airport.
I am 1 hour from Cleveland, 90 minutes from Pittsburgh, 2 hours from Columbus, and 2 and a half hours from Detroit. I have no interest in the Pass myself, but I would consider it based on my good location to options other than just Cleveland.
