Frontier thinks I'm a bot

Trying to book some December travel, and I get a popup I've never seen before that says "Press and hold to confirm you're human." I press and hold, it completes a progress bar and gives me a check mark, then says, "Please try again." Repeating the process yields the same result, over and over.

I haven't tried booking from the app, but not letting people complete bookings seems like it's bad for business. Do they really have a problem with bots booking on their site? Or is this another fun experiment from the illustrious F9 IT?

I've had this happen from time to time on the website. You can try logging out and back in or using a different browser but I've never found a guaranteed solution. Both the website and the app have their own problems (for instance, I don't believe it's possible to apply a credit shell or voucher in the app), but typically I book on the app unless there's a case where I need to book on the website. The website feels like it's held together with duct tape and glue.

What I try: Chrome on my laptop, Firefox on my laptop, the app on my phone, and Chrome on my phone. Usually one of those will work.

Sad that we have to go to these lengths just to do basic stuff.

Seriously. I wonder how much business they lose to people who aren't willing (or don't know) to go to those lengths?
