Mileage expiration rules changed?

It looks like they changed inactivity timeframe from six months to twelve months. However, their Terms also indicate that redemptions no longer qualify as activity. My expiration date still shows as "N/A" and most of us got that email in January that expiration dates were resuming.
Anyone have ideas on what we can do to extend the expiration, without flying or using the credit card?5. MILES EXPIRATION
  1. Mileage in a Member’s account does not expire so long as the Member generates accrual activity every twelve months; this includes any purchase activity on the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard. Unredeemed mileage accumulated in your account will expire at the end of the twelve-month period after your last accrual activity date. Other account activity, such as redeeming or other miscellaneous adjustments, will not extend your expiration date.

I somehow missed the announcement that expirations were beginning again. Does anyone have a good strategy on an easy way to extend expiration if immediate future plans don't include any Frontier flights?

I found these threads:
Miles expiration?
Extending account miles without flying? Accrual options.

It seems, short of flying, the options are:
-credit a rental car (Dollar, Thrifty, Hertz, Budget, Avis, National, Alamo)
-hotel stay (Marriott, Radisson, Wyndham)
-transfer hotel points (Radisson - 10:1, 2K Radisson minimum; Marriott 3:1, 3K Marriott minimum; Wyndham 5:1, 6K Wyndham minimum)
-shop with Teleflora (10 miles/$)
-join Vinesse Wine club (6 wines, $42, 1500 miles)
-buy points ($25 for 1K)

Did I miss any easier option? Is there a way to gift points to another member (even if there is a small fee?)

The easiest option used to be redeeming for the cheapest magazine. However, based on their updated terms, redemptions may no longer count.
Purchasing miles should extend it but I have enough with all the Covid-related conversions. At least, it's a twelve month expiration now.
There are very few data points for 2023 so hopefully we'll have a better idea towards year end.

Anybody know how activity and expiration works in a family account? I would assume that each member needs their own activity, but I've also learned to not assume much when it comes to Frontier.

Each member should need their own activity. However, everyone's expiration date is showing "NA" so who really knows. Frontier's IT department is as bad as their gate agents.
