Canceling one passenger (elite)?
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with a scenario like this:
4 passengers on reservation
Lead passenger is Elite 100K.
Lead passenger is unable to fly and needs to cancel.
Other 3 passengers intend to travel.
Bags are already selected and seat assignments made as a benefit of the lead passenger's Elite 100K status. If he cancels off of the reservation, will other 3 passengers keep these benefits? Would it make a difference if he just no-shows at the airport versus cancels in advance?

Did the OP go through with the cancellation/no show?
I have a similar scenario coming up where my wife is the elite 100k but is unable to fly, but the remaining passengers are already assigned the work benefits. Would there be issues at the gate for the remaining passengers if we go down the no show and forfeit her fare?
