You have to add more miles every 6 months.
Fly Frontier.
Get the credit card and use it from time to time.
Rent a car and pay the fee for Frontier miles.
Transfer points from Marriott.
Earn points by staying at a Wyndham Hilton or LaQuinta
Transfer point through points.com
Buy some Flowers through teleflora
Signup for e-miles and/or e-rewards
I have found that Thanks Again! which covers most credit/debit card purchases at some airports (ATL in my case). It only earns a few miles but those are in addition to whatever miles/points you earn otherwise. You can transfer as few as 100 points to Frontier to keep your miles alive. Thanks Again Points also expire but if you earn a few points with them ever few months they get kept alive. Thai one requires some management.

You can also check out points, com conversions out of Frontier. I am an opportunistic F9 flyer so when I do have miles post I soon convert to Amtrak. It is roughly a 4:1 ratio which I find favorable as I am unlikely to collect enough Frontier miles to do anything useful.

Do you have to earn miles or can you use miles to extend expiration as well? Usually other programs any activity counts (earn/redeem), but the terms on F9 do say "earn".
I have been searching the forum and cannot find confirmation of this.
The easiest would be to use points.com for a small transfer or use magsformiles.com which has Frontier options.
I'd also like to know how quickly the activity is generated - I have some expiring in 5 days so would need activity to be logged by then.
update: this site covers it better and mentioned that it has to be EARNING activity, not redeeming. But, you could at least try redeeming your miles soon before expiration to get some value out of them.

I've been a member of eRewards since 2012 and I just looked for the Frontier Air Early rewards points/buy. For $100 eReward dollars you can get 2000 miles, $50 = 1000 miles $25= 500 miles. I don't see how you would have to be "Invited" to buy miles from Frontier Air. You can take any survey to earn $ to buy any airline miles. No problem, just sign up at eRewards. Erewards
You need to be "invited" to join erewards in the first place, then you can redeem for any of their partners. So my problem has been joining erewards (which also has a big bonus for your first survey). In fact, I even tried some other partners (hotels) and could not find a way to generate an invitation.
