Never flown Frontier - due to technical issue?

I have been trying for over 2 months to book a flight on Flyfrontier.com. I have yet to get anywhere on their website. I put my from and too in along with my dates, number of travelers, and nothing populates, nothing? The page doesn't go anywhere at all?

I've tried Chrome, I.E, and Firefox....all the same. I've cleaned my cache at least 20 times and the site still won't go past the original page when trying to book an airfare. I did a search on; "is the site down just for me or others." Several times it returned a response of; 'its down for all'. Other times, "it was just down for me" ?

Does anyone know why this is happening? Do I need to stand on my left foot and stick my tongue out (ok, have tried everything else...LOL) to get to possibly book an airfare on the site? Maybe its someone's way of telling me not to book on Frontier and I should listen. I've never had this much trouble booking on any other airline.

Y..

I've booked dozens of flights on their website. While their website isn't the best or easiest to work with basic functions generally work.

Perhaps if you posted what you are trying to book someone can check it for you.

I appreciate your response. There are several flights I'm interested in so asking someone to look it up for me would be a bit out there.

My point is; the website should work. I've never seen anything like it and just wondered if anyone else had the same experience I am having. I'm sure I'm not alone on this.

I just did a test booking from PHL to TPA and had no problems, got as far as the credit card information screen, I didn't enter a credit card for obvious reasons.

I'll assume you downloaded the latest version of Firefox and Chrome. Don't forget to download the latest adobe flash ( http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ DONT FORGET TO UNCLICK MCAFEE) and Java ( http://www.java.com/en/download/ )

Well, I was finally able to log on just a few days ago but only at work which is really weird because they have so many security layers, I usually can't get anything that isn't work related. I was able to log in and check the flights I was interested in. I checked around at work and found 3 people that had flown on Frontier but no one had anything positive to say. : ( They stated that by the time you pay for your seat, your luggage (checked or not) and other extras you are at the other airlines normal price. (They didn't say anything negative about the actual flights/delays etc.) What do you guys think? I've never used them before. All feedback welcome, thank you.

I feel it is a good if you plan and know what the fees are -- if you do not you can get screwed.

Most people who are surprised haven't done their homework.

Read their web site. The additional fees are pretty clearly stated. Do not book through an OTA, as they often do not clearly let you know the options.

Consider purchasing The Works, if you need it. It pretty much covers everything you would expect (except for in flight refreshments)

You may find another carrier less expensive.

Sign up for the emails. They have very frequent very attractive sales. Once you buy it you are locked in.

If you can travel with a backpack you can escape all of the fees but your party may not be seated together.

It is cheaper to check a bag that carry one on.

I have always purchased the lowest possible air fare and a seat assignment. I've never been charged an additional fee except for the Fat Tires I buy on board.
