Classic Plus pricing
Frontier started flying non-stops on two of my regular routes in January. I was delighted to have some other options and being a tall guy, was even more delighted with the Classic Plus Stretch Seating. I have since purchased Classic Plus twice, once a couple weeks in advance and once on short notice. Both times the ticket was about $220, compared to sub $100 Economy prices.
This week, I went to purchase several more tickets, and the Classic Plus pricing on the 2 routes had jumped from $220 to $450, even for very advanced purchases. Moreover, the price was the same on both routes (one about 50% longer than the other). I was a bit surprised, given that some of the Economy tickets were priced at $60. I'm not complaining, rather wondering if a Frontier veteran can comment on or explain typical Classic Plus pricing. I'm used to Southwest pricing and know that if you buy less than 7 days out, you'll rarely get a wanna-get-away type fair. Were those initial prices I got some sort of promotion? Is Classic Plus always at a fixed premium or does it fluctuate? How often can you snag a cheaper upgrade? Any input appreciated, thank you!

I noticed the same thing. These prices are across the board and don't seem to vary with the pricing of economy tickets. So, for example, you can get a $50 economy ticket ticket to PHX from DEN, but Classic Plus, is like $435. It used to be that classic plus was priced at some reasonable premium over the lowest econonmy fare on a particular flight. I don't know if this is an anomoly or the new pricing structure.

Came here to post a follow-up pointing out the same thing. I was able to grab a couple tickets at a more reasonable price. The Classic Plus seats that were still $$$ seemed to be full flights, which makes sense.
