Website Woes

For 3 days now I've been trying to book a one way and keep geeting the message "We could not book your itinerary at this time. No payment has been taken. Either attempt purchase again or start a new search.". I tried 2 different computers. I know a could call in but don't have 45 minutes to wait on hold! Any suggestions? I was properly logged in, etc. Tried c.c. number several times, double checked everything. Thank you for any advice.

Have you tried booking through Orbitz or a similar website?

It's better to buy the ticket on flyfrontier.com.

You tried two different computers, but did you try:

1. Two different browser types (IE vs Firefox vs Chrome, etc), in case it's a problem with a specific browser type?

2. A "Private" browser window (which doesn't mix cookies with any other windows), in case it's a cookie problem?

Also, your at home base or are you on the road?

Why is that? I would imagine after a couple of days it's just better to have a ticket.

Thank you for the advice! I know from reading FT to purchase my ticket from flyfrontier.com or there's all sorts of trouble!

I changed my plans and booked a r/t through the website with no issues. I was just curious as I rarely book one-ways and wondered if anyone else had trouble.

Thank you again...

You don't have the option to purchase your seat or use promo codes, or anything over on the other sites.

I had an identical experience to the OP's last week whilst trying to book one-way MCO-PHX. Sat on hold for 36 minutes waiting for a CSR at their call center; once reached, booked without any issues or delay, and at the website fare. The CSR was good enough to waive the $10 call fee (though she did neglect to include the $25 fee for a carry-on; I ended up having to pay that at check-in). Why the problem occurred, I have no idea; there does seem to be a problem with their website when one is trying to book a one-way, though.
