Cleveland's future
Alright last I posted was the addition of Atlanta and the other additions. Then they add Dallas and Vegas, and now big mid and east coast lga, iAd, and ord. Cleveland is going to continue growing. They've already hinted at further growth this summer. Here is my expectations. Load factors are really
Good according to frontier spokesmen, and that means increased frequency. We're not like Wilmington where it's operating like allegiant on steroids. CLE is a legit market that can support daily flights with connecting banks! Very simple! They've already taken interest in long and short range routes, medium and large cities alike, it's going to continue to grow, I fear with IAD growth we may have to compete for attention, however Cleveland will be so willing to do anything thT I think well get the growth more, cheaper and more opertunity. If we grow to daily service, there really is no limit other than aircraft as to what routes can be added next.
Personally I'd like to see
MKE (united kept it, must be strong passenger loads)
ALB (something made united still want it when they announced the first round of cuts)
Wilmington (compliment the existing focus city)
SFO, LAX, SAN let's get some west coast action, they'll make big money)
UST (no daily, but a nice 3X weekly could work for sure)
TPA
I feel a lot more could work, time will tell! Long live CLE!

There are a lot of potential routes. I think F9 will consider CLE-DFW and CLE-IAH. These are longer than ORD, IAD and LGA and require more fleet usage but I think it will happen. I also agree about CLE-MKE as a good route, and more MKE routes like MKE-PIT and MKE-RDU. There is also STL and MCI that have mentioned.
I also agree about CLE to palm tree destinations: So Cal and UST, including SNA and any CLE to existing F9 city out there like SFO or OAK but on a likely more limited basis (like less than 4x weekly). Isn't there already CLE-TPA?
I also think there will be some CLE to BOS area flight. I'm guessing F9 opens in PVD however over BOS. With PVD, it can offer more unique value service with maybe potential for DFW, IAH, RDU etc. (markets PVD lacks nonstop service to currently).
I'm not sure about CLE-ILG. I thought it would have been added with IAD, LGA and ORD as there is CLE-ILG possibility already for September-December but F9 hasn't added it. ILG might just be Allegiant like station and designed only for ILG point of sale.
Daily flights out of CLE to every city I'm not sure. It's likely dependent on season, more likely 4-7x weekly but addition of new city pairings.
I doubt connecting banks in CLE. I think the new F9 wants to avoid connections. There is still TTN-MDW-DEN that lingers around as a one-stop (but no other flight has been designed like that where DEN isn't the connecting city right?), and the DEN hub but these seem like pre-Indigo moves.

I'm glad you share my optimism. Clearly frontier sees opportunity. The airport has already said that it's frontier and others will be adding this summer, and Let's see.
Frontier currently serves or will:
ATL
ORD
DFW
DEN
FLL
RSW
LAS
LGA
MCO
PHX
RDU
TPA
TTN
IAD
SEA
APPLE VACA (CUN, punta Cana)
Aright so now we see what could be added, in the same league as some of the above cities, we have
STL
MCI
OKC
OMA
BOS
JAX
LAX
SFO
SAN
SAT
IAH
CHS
PDX
MSP
all big markets. I can't think of what else might be added next.

It's because of Southwest jumping on DEN-CAK that Frontier is at CLE, but, as usual, Southwest didn't do its homework about Frontier.

Wouldn't happen. Southwest is one of the big boys now. Unless a new 9/11 type downturn occurs in the industry, they are still making money at both airports. Akron canton is mostly point to point traffic that their servicing, as is cle. Money at both. They both retain service and southwest will likely grow at Cleveland as well.

No hub closure, they're just expanding! Focus cities of frontiers operate on low frequency, meaning some aircraft could fly more than one route in the same day. Den is most frequent, followed by lga. I believe when the planes are available, they will increase service. They have plenty of aircraft however. Look at their growth. Building up Cleveland to be their largest focus city, and IAD close behind!
