Stretch seats
Thinking about booking our first flight with frontier and getting stretch seating. Is row 1 ideal or not because of the bulk head. Also, do you get priority security line access at the airport with these seats?

Bulkhead is not as desirable as rows 2-4 and the exit row(s). Unlike WN, you cannot easily get out of a bulkhead window seat without the other occupants having to also get up.
Also, there is restricted overhead space for the bulkhead row, although the FAs do try to hold some of this space for row 1.
I believe that Stretch seating boards with Classic Plus or Classic, after Summits and Ascents; sometimes concurrently with Summits and Ascents, since there are fewer and fewer of them these days.

Well, since I waited now only row 1 has 3 seats together in stretch seating. It's an a320 and I can not find any info on their bulkhead seat only the a319's which says its a tighter space. Are the a319 and a320's pretty much set up the same just more seats or would the a320 have a better row 1...

Check the exit rows - on the A320 there are two of them - these are also Stretch seating and they have the most seat pitch of any F9 seats.

Exactly the same. It's considered Stretch seating but the bulkhead restricts your ability to stretch legs out under the seat in front of you (there is no seat in front of you), so if you're 6 feet or taller it can get uncomfortable.

Actually, its not just for ascent and summit members, if you purchase the classic fare, you get Priority Services (check-in, security access, and boarding where available), stretch seating, 1 free bag,, Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and one alcoholic drink. Depending on where you are flying from/to, it can be between $25-$40 difference. 1 bag alone is $20.

If you're traveling with kids, be advised that they will LOVE the bulkhead because it's "different" than other rows and it's "the very first row." If you're not tall, that (plus the fact that tray tables are in the armrests of these rows, creating barriers between seats) may be just the ticket for you.
This of course assumes that one or both of your kids aren't 14-year-old tall drinks of water. (I was my full 6-4 height by that age!)

Any advice for stretch seating on the A319? I have SJO - DEN coming up. Looks like rows 1-4 or 12 are all available. From what I gather above, row 1 is not as desirable. Does row 12 (exit row) have traytables in the arm rest and a fixed arm rest? Or a regular armrest? Thanks for any insight.
