I wonder who the new animal will be. I don't remember the last choose the tail competition with Frontier, but I remember voting the runner up animal. So I wish it was that animal chosen.

Any retrofit plans to add sharklets to other aircraft? Or is this a factory only option unlike APB's 737 winglets?

There are retrofit kits for the 320's and the 319s and most of the F9 fleet is young enough to qualify. There are a few older build 320's that come on second hand that are too early builds to be equipped with winglets.

Since only a handful of F9's fleet is now owned, it would be up to the lessor to make the call on the winglets.

Which could open discussion with lessors about fuel savings v cost... Guessing most would go for it. Adding the retrofit cost in renegotiating the leases.
