Frontier Ending Flights to MCO from COU
According to the AP, Frontier is ending its MCO-COU route in May. Guessing this route hasn't been performing all that well. That's unfortunate because COU is very under-served.

COU's problem is that the traveling public there is well-adjusted to driving 90 minutes to STL or 120 minutes to MCI. COU fares are typically substantially higher than STL/MCI, and making the drive (or taking the Mo-X) is not a deal breaker for people. At least there is DL Rjet service to ATL now. I think COU's best chance at increasing service is trying to get more regional jet service on AA and UA to one or two of their hubs. If the only flights out of COU were DL to ATL, AA to DFW, and UA to ORD...that would be a HUGE improvement over what's there now.
