Frontier to Outsource Above & Below Wing @ All Stations (Except DEN)

While not officially announced by the company, I've confirmed this via a number of employees that I know personally. Also some mentions of it on the F9 Facebook page:

1) All stations, with the exception of DEN, are going to be outsourcing employees in above and below wing operations

2) All General Managers are let go, with the exception of DEN

3) F9/Republic is working with the new company to see about hiring current F9 employees

4) DEN is under review as to whether or not they will be outsourced. Future is unclear.

5) The Republic Finance department is largely behind this decision.

Sad, sad day to be an F9 employee.. I miss the day's of Denver's Hometown Airline...

It's tough for the affected staff but it is extremely expensive to provide staff at a small outstation and 60% of the Frontier stations are already outsourced. As here:

SBA is also outsourced. American Eagle ground handles this flight and they were notified today that they will not be handling it in the near future . Anyone have any info about this station? Are they going to discontinue the route?

You forgot PHX, MDW, IND, SAN, LAX, SFO, SJC, TUS and etc.

Is they going to cease operations? Who will takeover? Perhaps NK or B6 will merges with F9?

Why do you think they will cease operations? It's operating profitably and outsourcing is common in the airlines.
