Chances of Getting a Gate Pass

My wife is flying MCI-BOS @ 7am with our 6 month old and 2 year old. What are the chances of me getting a gate pass to help her get through security and keep the kids entertained until they board?

I'd say unlikely, since your wife is actually going with them, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Since gate passes are provided at the ticket counter, I'd recommend going early when they're not so busy, being polite and being friendly.

No experience with F9 but I have had luck in the past on other airlines. You might get a sympathetic counter agent at 5:30 in the morning, especially if your kids are raising hell.

You need a counter, not a gate agent. Should be a non-issue. Just give yourselves time.
