Frontier schedule

I'm looking to book a flight SEA to TYS next May. As of today, Frontier;s schedule is only listed thru 1-8-2012.

Does anyone have any idea as to when Frontier;s schedule will be updated to include May 2012.

Sometime in the next month is probably when the schedule might get extended. However, May might not show up until later in the year.

Ugh! Wish they would have extended through first week of April so that spring break could be booked.

Good for you!

If you see them extend dates into April before I do, let us know.

I'd really like to snag a Standard Award this year, versus what seems to be more the norm of having to pay up with Choice Awards. I know the destination I want to go to this year will require snagging the award as soon as the schedule is released.

I wasn't too impressed wth the Frontier schedule. With things still uncertain at SWA/AirTran, I wasn't about to wait around and book something with AirTran only to have it turn into a SWA flight. Who knows if SWA will even continue to serve FLL nonstop.

I felt the Fronter pricing for those dates was reasonably competitive. I actually expected to be paying more than that given the unstable fuel prices.

Also, I see that AirTran has eeked out a small schedule extension to Jan 20.

(of course...I need to book a trip through Jan 21).

It may be SWA by that time.

For what it's worth, the schedule extension generally seems (at this point) to have them just pushing the Christmas schedule forward. Specifcally for MKE/MCI/OMA

MKE-MCO and MKE-FLL operate daily through the new period
MKE-PIE and MKE-RSW operate 3-4 days per week each
MKE-CUN operates weekly on Saturday
MCI-RSW operates weekly on Saturday
OMA-MCO operates weekly on Saturday

I suspect there will be fine-tuning as we get closer, but there's not anything really new one way or the other in this schedule extension at this point.

Let's see some MKE-PUJ service (or another Caribbean destination) for winter this year.
