Did they change the ticket counter and gate signs to Frontier yet? I have not been able to make it back to Milwaukee since January

The last timetable showed a system wide signage change by July 1. However, I suspect we'll see changes at MKE in the next few months.

July 1, 2011. I'm sure MKE will be one of the last to remove everything so they can make sure the majority of the YX customer base has a smooth transition.

I did seem to notice that the Midwest Express sign has been removed from the hangar along the airport spur in Milwaukee...Or was I imagining things?

There is a sign on the hanger which was came down something like 2 years ago, but you can still see that it was a sign. I think it used to say Maintenance Facility. Now and then people noticed it and thought it related to a name change, but its innocuous. Is that perhaps what you noticed?

No...I could have sworn that I drove by there on Monday morning and the "Midwest Express" sign with the plane was gone.

Yes, the "maintenance facility" sign has been gone. The "Midwest Express Airlines" sign is also gone.

Interestingly, the image of the old MD-80 aircraft was still on the building as of a few days ago.

I wonder how many people would love to have that memorabilia hanging in their rec room.

Message appearing tonight on Midwest homepage:

As part of the ongoing integration of Midwest and Frontier Airlines, were merging our websites. Beginning October 1, midwestairlines.com will be available primarily for Midwest Miles transactions. If youre making a new reservation, please book at frontierairlines.com. Thank you for your understanding as we work to become one airline.

The MKE ticket counter has the wall stripped down to the white, and the Midwest and Frontier signs are gone. There are two temporary Midwest signs hung on the white wall. I have a feeling it will green up soon.

Thank God, it's finally going to happen. I wonder how many glitches we will have to endure in the next few days.

Could it be systemwide change on Oct 1?

http://www.rdu.com/news/2010/release_092910.htm

Oct 1 is the one year anniversary of Frontier emerging from Chapter 11.

Noted on http://www.frontiermidwest.com/weare...line/#product:

Rebrand Program as EarlyReturns October 1, 2010
The countdown is now at 45 days; 45 days till what landmark?

Message on Midwest site:

As of Oct. 1, 2010, Midwest Airlines' codeshare with Frontier Airlines has transitioned to Frontier. Passengers holding Midwest Airlines tickets on Frontier codeshare flights can check in for their flights online at frontierairlines.com or at the Frontier Airlines ticket counter in your departure city.

This morning's press release:

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Fronti....html?x=0&.v=1

A few items:

--All reservations should be available on Frontier's single reservation system, check in via Frontier's website, or use Frontier's kiosks.

--The E170's should have Stretch by Thanksigiving

--The FF programs are not a single entity yet, so midwestairlines.com is not yet gone:

The alignment of the Frontier EarlyReturns and Midwest Miles programs is expected to be complete later this fall. Until then, Midwest Miles members should continue to log in to their account through the Midwest Airlines website to purchase flights or to service their account. Once a member is logged in they will be redirected to the Frontier Airlines website to book. Once the loyalty programs have been fully integrated, the Midwest Airlines website will be retired and all Midwest Miles members will receive further communication on accessing their membership through FrontierAirlines.com
