Company policy and FT

I will not speak for MostlyAir but the RAH family will be adding a new company policy about social media. We are not sure what day it will come into effect but I will make everyone aware when it does. We also have not been told the extent that the new policy will cover. My user name is easy for anyone at corporate to figure out so when all is said and done, I will only post within those set parameters.

I have tried to be open and honest with everyone on FT and hope to continue to offer insight and opinions. I will also continue to be available through the PM but cannot guarantee that I will be any more forthcoming with answers. Thank you in advance for your understanding and I hope to continue to offer a meaningful contribution to the forum.

You and MostlyAir have always been excellent representatives of Republic on FT, though I realize that your posts have been personal, and not as Republic employees.

Thanks for the heads-up on the policy change. I hope that the company will continue to allow employee contributions to social media, as long as inside or confidential company information is not disclosed in the process.

I look forward to Republic expanding social media outlets in the future, not restricting their usage, especially when it comes to customer service.

Republic needs to use sites like Facebook to market its product.

AirTran has a very visible presence on FB, and Republic should do the same.

I agree with many of the responses on this thread.

Hopefully the new guidelines will allow for these posts to continue. Social media, while not a huge factor in doing business, is still important to connect with a growing segment of the traveling public.

Thanks everyone for the support. I just want to make it clear this is just for employees use of social media and not the comapny itself. To my knowledge Frontier will continue to use Facebook and Twitter as the have been.

+1 to the comments here. Hopefully there's a reasonable policy which allows continued participation to one extent or another.

Please let us know before you guys (hopefully don't have to) drop off the face of the earth. :-(
