Yay!
I have posted a reply already to something in the old thread, and it permitted it. So what makes sense...post all new threads here on the combined board, but let active topics in the old threads wind down on their original board?
There aren't that many hot, ongoing topics at the moment so hopefully it's a moot point soon. But it seems clumsy to start a new thread in this new board to reply to something posted in the old board.

I made a request to essxjay to move some threads from the Frontier and Midwest forums into this combined forum. Below are the suggestions. We'll see what she decides. I'm hoping they are relevant to the combined discussion.
Milwaukee Food Options Thread
Milwaukee-Hartford starts 9/27
Stretch seats?
Milwaukee-Tucson
"Express" boarding?
No Snacks
Service resumption to Steamboat Springs
How Does Frontier Assign Seats
New Schedule
inflight magazine
new stl-pvr service
milwaukee san antonio starts nov 19th
MCI-AUS starts 11/18
F9/YX adds MKE-CUN nonstop
First RJ painted in Frontier colors
Partnership ends with AirTran
Stretch Seating
Additional Suggestions:
C Series Airplane Order
Guide to the Milwaukee Airport

Rather than moving threads en mass I'll be moving them individually, which actually doesn't take that much longer but does have one very attractive benefit -- the option of my adding an expiring or permanent redirect. Meaning, a thread may (in a sense) appear to be open in multiple places but really is just a single, active thread in the parent forum. (You'll see what I mean by clicking around the pre-alignment/child fora.) From past experience we've found it's a gentler way of keeping discussions easy to find and access no matter which forum one prefers to start reading in.
Feel free to post additional candidates for moving in this thread. If within a couple of hours you find discussions still in need of repositioning, PM me and/or send an owl post to [email protected]. I'll be standing by.

But it seems clumsy to start a new thread in this new board to reply to something posted in the old board.
Just to give you a sense of the admin tools at my disposal, here are the possible actions available at the thread level:
• Close Thread
• Move (with options to leave no redirect, leave a permanent redirect or leave a discretionary redirect of X hours/days/months)
• Copy (with options to leave either or both versions open)
• Edit (all sorts of surgical options)
• Delete (renders thread invisible to most members, mostly used on feelthy spammers™)
• Stick
• Merge (graft one discussion onto other using either thread title, w/posts sorted chronologically)
• Remove redirect
About the only irreversible action is the Merge function (though I may be misremembering). Bottom line is, whatever can be done can usually be undone so no worries about burdening me.

• Remove redirect

Anything else?
