Experience interlining US to Frontier?

I've got a 1:20 or so connection between my US CLT-DEN flight and my frontier flight to JAC. It looks like there's an interline agreement in place. ANy bets on success? There are no later YX flights, but UA does have a later flight -- if my bag misses my ticketed YX flight, will it end up on the evening UA flight? No biggie as I have to pick up my other later in the evening anyway (coming in from slc on DL) so I'll be back at Jac....

Very rarely will an airline put a delayed bag on another carrier. So, that's out of the question. And, 1:20 is not a huge amount of time for interlining purposes. Hopefully, your originating flight will be ontime. Then, there is a chance that this will work out for you. Otherwise, you will be going back to JAC the next day.

What I wonder is if in this case, isn't US responsible for getting my bag to YX? If they fail, it's their partner UA that flies to JAC two more flights that evening.

Definitely not true. Frontier frequently puts delayed bags on other airlines if it will arrive sooner than one of their flights.

1:20 seems like a lot of time to me, especially at DEN. I think you will be just fine.

I recently interlined between Frontier and Hawaiian with only 45 minutes in LAS without a glitch.

Enjoy your trip to Jackson Hole. One of the most beautiful places on earth IMHO.

I shouldnt say this, but I hope I've gotten my bad flight Karma out of the way this weekend. Flew PVD/CLT/ATL returning via PHL. CLT-ATL was Cx fro weather, and the journey ended up taking 18 hours total. The return ATL-PHL went mechanical, and now I'm stranded in Philly waiting for an 8pm flight. Was supposed to be at WORK at 8pm. yeah. That was risky. I lost. Should get in to PVD 5 hours late. No offers for compensation from USScare yet..

Sorry to hear about your flight mess. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you experience nothing but smooth sailing during your trip through Denver.
