Eligibility: To enter the Sweepstakes you must be a legal resident of and reside in one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia and be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico and where restricted or prohibited by law.
How to Enter: This promotion (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Aug 15, 2005 and ends at 5:00 p.m. ET on September 19, 2005 (the “Promotion Period”). You may enter the Sweepstakes in one of the following ways: (i) visit www.shopathometv.com, www.gactv.com or www.opry.com, fill in the online entry form and submit it in accordance with the on-screen directions [limit one (1) online entry per valid email address, per eligible person per day during the Promotional Period]; (ii) fill out an entry form at one of the following Gaylord properties and deposit it into the entry box provided at the Grand Ole Opry Gift Shop, Gaylord Opryland Resort, Wildhorse Saloon or General Jackson in Nashville, TN or (iii) hand print your name, complete mailing address, age and daytime phone number either on a 3 x 5” postcard or on a separate piece of paper no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches, and mailing the completed postcard or paper to: “Opry 80th Anniversary” Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 233, Florham Park, New Jersey 07932. Entrants using U.S. mail may enter once per day during the Promotion Period. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by September 19, 2005 and received by September 23, 2005 to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per envelope.
Prize: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive $10,000 in cash and a weekend trip (Friday-Monday) for two (2) to Nashville, Tennessee from October 21-24, 2005. Trip includes roundtrip coach air transportation from gateway airport closest to prizewinner’s U.S. residence to Nashville, roundtrip ground transportation between airport and hotel in Nashville, 3-night double occupancy room accommodations at Gaylord Opryland Resort including all taxes related to accommodations. Grand Prize package also includes two (2) VIP tickets to the Grand Ole Opry on October 22, 2005 (scheduled guest is CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, Martina McBride), plus a chance to meet Martina McBride (before or after the show)*, a guided tour of the Grand Ole Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame and the Ryman Auditorium, a spa package at Relache in the Gaylord Opryland Resort (includes massage, facial and pedicure), an autographed Limited Edition Acoustic Takamine Guitar (retail value is approximately $5,000.00), $250 of Official Opry 80th Anniversary Merchandise and an autographed copy of Martina McBride’s new CD, “Timeless”. Total ARV (Approximate Retail Value) of Grand Prize Package is $18,455.00. Trip must be taken on October 21-October 24, 2005.
