Does anyone have experience with the Paris-Pass or any similar attractions passes? I'm travelling to Paris in May for a week and plan to hit the museums, etc, pretty heavily. I used the British Heritage Pass when in Scotland a couple years ago, and it worked great at bypassing lines and saving money. Does the Paris-Pass or any other pass work similarly? Does it really get you past ticket lines, or do you have to stand in line to get a paper-ticket by using the Paris-Pass? Thanks for the info!

Yes, the museum pass is what I'm primarily interested in, and line-skippage (hopefully true) is the main reason why. I'll be curious to hear your experiences with it.

I didn't read through the links, so this may be repetitive.

The museum pass certainly does allow you to bypass lines, and sometimes the time savings can be huge. We were there over Christmas, and one day the line at the Louvre was enormous. We walked right past many hundreds of people (who were not moving much) and walked right in! My guess is that the wait for the folks in line was at least an hour -- and that was at the mall entrance.

I also liked the option to come and go as we pleased. The Louvre especially can be pretty daunting, so we went three separate times in a six-day period. Each time we only stayed for an hour or two, and we explored totally different areas.

We'd use the muesum passes again in a heartbeat.

do not take anything that must be checked. the coat check lines (for umbrellas,backpacks,etc) can take as long as the ticket purchase line.

I've done a search of this forum but wasn't able to find a specific answer to this question - does anyone know what the difference between the Paris Pass and the Paris City Passport is? They both look pretty similar, include the Museum Pass, Visite, etc, but the Paris Pass is 50 Euros more....my trip to Paris will only be 3 days, so I'm not even sure if its worth buying either of these?
